Instead of minding my own business…
That’s my mind, it always needs something new and shiny to play with. That’s what happened about a year and a half ago when he (my brain) thought it would be a good idea to write a children’s book!
Okay, I’m not saying it was a bad idea either, but is this what I needed? Regardless, the book was written, the feedback received was good (what to say to poor friends and family…) so began the long and arduous road to publication via the talented and wonderful Bianca Anton for the illustrations, Andreea Costachescu for the proofreading and you guess how many and how many little things only she knew – but absolutely necessary and that made the book at least 3 times better, Raluca Tinca (a children’s book writer in her own right) with advice on self publishing and much more, and I’m sure I’m forgetting a few other good people who left their mark on this book and without whom we wouldn’t have gotten anywhere.
